A lot of funny shit has happened to me in my lifetime and I though that it might be fun to share some of it with you.  I’ll start with something that I thought was absolutely hilarious.  So, here we go.

A while back my friends and I got into the habit of leaving wierd shit on other friends windshields, underneath the wiper blades.  Chief and I had left a belgian waffle, a cup of “au jus” (the sauce that you dip your “beef dip” in at Quizno’s), and a seedless cucumber under the windshield wiper of Todd (all at different times of course).  So one day I’m driving around with Chief in the car and we decide that we have a dire need to leave something under the windshield wiper of Zim.  He was currently at work at a pharmacy nearby.  When Chief asked me what we should leave I had a sudden flashback to my childhood. Oh dear…. Oh no…no, no, no.

Let me start by saying that I read the book, really liked the book.  Stephanie Meyer’s writing is comfortable to read, is exciting to read, and is involving.  The book draws you into that world with a talent that is rare.  Yes it’s typically a book for teenage girls, but I can recognize talented writing and be involved in a good storyline, especially when that story is about vampires.  One big thing about the book was that it moved slowly.  It developed the characters well, giving you enough background to understand the bond that develops between Bella and Edward. If only it were so simple.  Maybe you’ll agree, but most will likely think I’m an idiot for this particular post but I really don’t care.  I’m out of work for those of you who don’t know and I’ve been spending every spare moment, well maybe not every single one, pursuing work.  Sometimes I sit down and I think, wouldn’t it just be wonderful if zombies “happened”?  I know what you’re thinking, sick man over there.  But hear me out here. Well I figured out that the editing pages of wordpress and my router are not friends.  So, bypassing the router, I can now edit as I see fit.  So, that takes care of the “cooperative site” part of the equation.  Now I need time, time to figure out how this page must be organized in order to resemble a typical website.  I need archives, I need links to other pages within my site, I neeeeeeed……. time and assistance.  So, check back often as I hope that this page will be changing often.

so apparently editing my page is possible from anywhere except my fucking home pc. i click “write post” and after about ten minutes of loading, it gives up. however, here i sit in kohl’s, pissing time away on my new cell phone and i decide to check out my new site from a mobile situation and just for shits and giggles i click the log in button and it works, i click the “write post” button and it works! and so o sit here swearing in my head at the unknown forces that don’t want me to have a nice looking website. so, if you happen to stumble by my little corner of the net and wonder why it looks like shit, there ya go! I do hope to have this page up and running soon. all it will take is a cooperative site and time…

Welcome to my world.  Here you’ll find amusment, brooding, and something else that seems interesting.  My reviews tend to be on the lighter side, but I also want to use this space for serious writings that cross my mind from time to time… so, I call my jumbled mess WordKnot.  Enjoy
